That would be great. I'm reachable via Skype or Google Talk, when I'm
home. It would be invaluable to be able to pick your brain.

Yeah, that was something I hadn't thought about. But it's definitely a
helpful idea. As soon as we get our name and date locked down I'll be
sending out some emails and letters to studios about that.

Yeah. I'll be asking about guests at the same time. :)

So, what--go out and buy extra copies of the films? Or ask them to
send multiple copies?

Would it be a better idea to build up a con screener library with the
ones who let us keep them, or throw them into the end-of-con raffle?

Yeah. The plan is to get a high-def capable projector, a computer with
PowerDVD and vlc, and a 5.1 surround computer speaker system--and also
perhaps a Playstation 3 for showing BluRay titles. Though a lot of
that stuff will be decided once it gets closer to show date. I
strongly agree about projectors and screens.
The anime room in the local con put on by other people last year had
*only* a projector, and the tinny little speaker that was in it. I am
determined *not* to be that room.

We're planning not to have those, at least at our first con. They're
more trouble than they're worth.

Yeah, I was thinking about doing Miyazaki mornings (and maybe some
Avatar, which isn't precisely anime but is close enough for me).
