1. Who is the overall best mangaka of the two?
2. Who is the funniest regardless of quality?
3. Who creates the best characters?
4. Challenge! Part 1. They exchange titles; Akamatsu has to redo
InuYasha, Ranma, Maison Ikkoku and Urusei Yatsura, while Takahashi has
to redo Love Hina, A.I. Love You, and Negima. How does it go?
5. Challenge! Part 2. They have to work together in a crossover between
their works...
... with Takahasi supplying the writing and Akamatsu the artwork?
... with Akamatsu supplying the writing and Takahashi the artwork?
What? You thought I was going to have them fight?

Fairly well.

Takahashi writes, Akamastu's slaves draw.

Not really. Why, did you think we would?

Thats a bit vague for an answer. If Ataru was an Akamatsu
character he'd be more nebbish and only mistaken for a pervert rather
than an actual one. Lum would be more or less the same though, same
goes for Akane. If Keitarou was a Takahashi character, he'd actually be
a pervert and would lack nebbishness.

Agreed. Akamatsu is a pretty unoriginal writer, while Takahashi is a
creative genius. They both do cute art.

Takahashi draws her characters in her style, Akamatsu draws his
characters in his style, lowly assistants draw generic backrounds that
merge the styles. Its a postmodern extravaganza!

I still want to say Takahashi, tho I wonder if she's fallen off in
recent years...

I'll buck the trend here and say Akamatsu. Takahashi's last couple of
series have had amusing moments, but not a lot that made me LOL as much
as LH and Negima...

Eh, both of them suffer from restricting character growth to the
conventions of Plot...I'll say "Tie".
