Well, folks, the survey is half-way through its usenet phase,
and as usual I'm posting an interim report.

There have been 38 returns so far. That's quite a bit more than
last year at this point, actually, more than all of the Usenet-based
returns last year, and a bit surprising to me (happy surprise).
