Dear All,

We have been adding a lot of content to About Japan: A Teacher's
Resource http://aboutjapan.japansociety.org, which might be of
interest to many in this group. Some recent additions include:

"Anime – An Annotated Filmography for Use in the Classroom"
Japanese historian and anime and manga expert Antonia Levi recommends
anime movies to use in the grade K-12 classroom. For each movie, she
gives a synopsis, suggests age appropriateness, and offers points of
discussion.

"Anime and Manga: It's not all make-believe," also by Toni Levi
Anime (Japanese animation) and manga (Japanese cartoons) are wildly
popular with American children. Antonia Levi, a historian of Japan and
