I misremembered. Magical Doremi featured several episodes that relied
on pathos. And they were good episodes.
All the same, if you aren't watching this show, you're a mean person
that wants Tinkerbell to die.
Terrence Briggs, replying to his own posts, cuz he's got it like that.
Peace to you...

USA Today did a cool, three-tier list of prime-time shows to watch,
broken down by day. It went something like this:
WATCH NOW
Appointment TV
SAVE FOR LATER
Timeshift to watch later, but still worth watching
WATCH WHEN YOU CAN
No big deal, but worth a shot every now and then.
I'll save my big list for later, and limit it to Saturday Morning, but
I'm interested in your list of shows that don't suck this year.
__WATCH NOW__
Jane & the Dragon
The "Rune" episode cemented this show as the year's best so far.
Pathos? From an E/I show? I haven't seen that since Phantom 2040.
Replacements
Haters would say that this E/I show teaches kids to avoid asking for
change and love the status quo. Closer observers would say that it
teaches kids to avoid SELFISHLY demanding change. The pacing and
interplay are often sharp.

I can't help it--With kids in the house, I've started setting my VCR for
PBS "Cyberchase".
One of the last remaining green-broccoli "educational" shows on the now
deregulated Nelvana post-Arthur wasteland that is PBS afternoons.
(And directed by Larry Jacobs of "Magic School Bus" fame...
I'm old-school Children's Television Worksho
--I'll take one good math
and science lesson over a hundred "Buster's Postcards".) :)

Legion of Superheroes; The Batman; Loonatics Unleashed; Pucca; South
Park; Drawn Together; Family Guy; American Dad (Avatar would be one,
but I'm so hopelessly behind, I'm just gonna watch on DVD)

Most of my watching is in this category, due to my schedule: WITCH;
Fantastic Four; Billy & Mandy; Johnny Test; pretty much everything on
Adult Swim and anime on CN or otherwise...
>
> WATCH WHEN YOU CAN
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends; Liberty's Kids; Archie Mysteries;
Yin Yang Yo; Jane and the Dragon (saw one ep, would watch more, but not
going out of my way to do so).

And Naruto fillers, which pretty much covers the last 70 episodes
aired in Japan.
