Well, considering the number of studios determined to protect their
precious trademarks and copyrights, I'd say the closest thing to a story
like that would be another April Fools joke or certain online strips
(especially when you consider Mr. Shultz's current status)

Kim Possible/Totally Spies
Daria/Fairly Oddparents
Teen Titans/Justice League
Teen Titans/Invader Zim
Road Runner/Aladdin
even a joint project called 'Ladies Night' that brings diverse characters
like Demona, Buzzsaw Girl, Cheetara and April O'Niel into the same area
and allows them to interact.

I believe the original Garfield specials were produced by the same studio
that did the Peanuts specials, so it might not be that difficult. However, I
don't see the two mixing well; the closest would be some storyline with
Snoopy and Garfield.

My own preference would be Daria and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
Have Daria playing Mandy and, perhaps, Kevin playing Billy with Mr.
DeMartino as Grim.

That too. :)

Anything's possible in a cartoon although, even with my fertile
imagination, this scenario leaves me a little puzzled. {:^)
Are the characters in your version Mandy's age?

(Then again, there are artists who have paired Mandy with Gaz from Invader
Zim and Olga from Dexter's Lab. Go fig.)

Quite possibly. Borrowing from the anime/manga folk seems big in US
animation these days, so why not do a chibi-Daria, etc?

Oh yes. Bleedman. Good artist, that, though he seems to have slacked off a
bit lately.
