I *loved* BC decades ago, but over the years he just got too religious
too often for me.

It wasn't the religion for me. When the strip stopped being about
cavemen and started being about the 70s as told by cavemen, it started
down a one-way dead-end street. Funny for a while, but it gradually lost
all steam. A little anachronism, okay. 100%%, too much.

Re-read the early collections, though, and it's still genius stuff. "I
think I'll go discover some sleep."

I agree with the religion part. It really has no place in the media.
It turned me off big time.
