Found a couple of clips from ''Allegro Non Troppo'' on YouTube...

Allegro Non Troppo - Valse Triste

That's the one with the kitten I mentioned in the last post.

''Ravel's bolero.scene frome allegro non troppo...''

And Bruno Bozzetto's website, about his numerous short films, movies and
other projects he's produced in his
career, click here.

The film does have some great, dark humor.

And I agree. It's not 100%% great, but I enjoyed it in the theater when
it came out. I've watched it since then, too.

As a jumping off point, but it stands well alone as a work of art, as
well... in my opinion.

Nobody read your "last post," Will. Does someone need to look into a
possible cruelty to animals charge against you?

I just did... and in fact watched most of it again an hour or so ago at
Gene-o's, this time so Brando could check it out.

The live action sequences were particularly outstanding this time around, my
third viewing of it... Nichetti, I think his name is, is a great comedian in
the slapstick tradition - sometimes tripping through some downright menacing
situations, an ape, a cartoon snake, and the death by fire of his cartoon
icon ''Mr. Ross''.
