cartoons. 'Tis a pity; the kids and I used to enjoy bonding over old
Looney Toons and Tom & Jerry episodes. Even the cheesy HB cartoons
from the 60's and 70's at least had a camp factor we could enjoy. The
current crop seem joyless and souless.
OK, I'll go back to gumming my oatmeal...

That's going to depend on which Daffy Duck. The cartoons range from the
great (DUCK AMUCK, PORKY PIG'S FEAT, DUCK! RABBIT! DUCK!) all the way to
those hideously awful Daffy vs. Speedy Gonzales efforts, while Sponge
Bob has a generally high level of quality somewhere up around the 85th
percentile or so. Figure in the fact that I've seen some of the Daffy
cartoons a lot of times. I'm not slamming the great Duck cartoons, but
there are other factors at work here than the greatness of the character.
