I put forth the argument that the Star Wars universe largely gave up
on droids/artificial intelligence as a good combat system. The droid
armies were rendered obsolete/useless by the clone army. Now, maybe
if those droids had kept their mind on the ball instead of making lame
jokes and forgetting orders and failing to hear and etc....
