I was about to say something about the start time, but I honestly
don't remember anymore. When I got back in my car, I checked the
clock and I suddenly wasn't sure how much time had passed. I thought,
there's no way that movie was only an hour. Based on what others are
telling me, I'll concede I got this wrong.

I understand that. My problem with the comedy is that it interfers
with the Big Picture, if you will. You are right that goofy robot
humor has been a staple of there series, but it's gotten either more
lame or simply less funny, like the droid torture scenes in Return Of
The Jedi. The humor not only interrupts the attempted mood of the
scene, but makes you question the effectiveness of the droids.
Considering the SW universe has basically evolved true artificial
intelligence, it doesn't make sense for the droids to behave the way
they do in "Clone Wars".

Don't get me wrong, I see your point. But such a discussion of what
bothers me is going to take this down a long road of mostly
philosophical questions about the nature and mentality of the clones
that I'm frankly not sure anyone would find interesting or even worth
it. Trust me, the makers of Sominex have forbidden me to compete with
them that effectively. ;-)
