Well, obscenity (like beauty) is in the eye of the beholder.
In fact, if you don't mind my asking, what would you consider enjoyable
during the late night block(s)?
Shows like Daria and Spicy City are good 'building blocks' for an
animated renaissance but I think that, to be truly successful, there
would need to better replacements for the current pit of drek than
Duckman and Korgoth (as enjoyable as they are).
In my opinion, the current crop of writers and artists/animators would
need to explore the 'darker side' of the human imagination (ie friendly
demons, alternative body types; better transformation spells)...or at
least give us more to chew on than the usual 'snobs vs freaks' cliche.
Then again I could give certain episodes of Robot Chicken another
viewing. 9_9
Oh well, answer away if you wish.

who can think of a few 'clever' wishes for his first (female) genie.
Animated characters that could use a(nother) cameo/'rebuild'
Splatter Phoenix (Darkwing Duck)
Buzzsaw Girl (Dynatron City)
The Roborsons (Quack Pack)
Waffle Woman (Ren and Stimpy)
Pushy Galore (Stripperella)
Gsptlsnz (Superman Animated)
Cyborg Lois Lane (Sunbow's Superman)
Some of the 'youma' from Sailor Moon
(What can I say? I thought the perfume bottle girl was clever) ^_^;
