ID this pre-1975 "Pied Piper" cartoon?

As I dimly remember, it was realistically drawn and was narrated with
Browning's lines. The only scene I remember is the one where the lame
boy doesn't make it into the mountainside.

Clearly, not the Disney version.

I only remember the live-action version, which they showed at the junior
high school back in the 60s. I saw it more recently, and I had forgotten
that most of it was in verse, and that Jim Backus was the king (which is
sort of on-topic for the animation group, anyway, if you squint).

There is also a marvelous stop-motion puppet film of The Pied Piper produced
by Cosgrove Hall...excellent!!! It has the Browning narration.
