It was hard to imagine a WORSE realization of Thundercats than the one
we already got, but then...
Look, Sonic tried this crap 8 years ago. Why even bother? If you
want a rock band, just do Jem, mix it with Ashley & the Starlights
doing an American Idol/ Rock Star INXS tryout thing and go from there.

For giggles, or for real?
Sealab was pretty much played for laughs in the Adult Swim remake, but
I'm usually opposed to campy remakes in principle. (*I* wouldn't do
it that way, but I wouldn't be above watching any show that did [New
Adventures of Mighty Mouse, Loonatics].)
In the past, I've defended Phantom 2040, Batman Beyond, and Sherlock
Holmes in the 22nd Century.
Personally, I'd love to see a "modern" Wonder Woman, or even a mideval
one!

Daria's a contemporary cultural critic. Putting her in the future
(for more than one episode) would make her seem like even MORE of a
crotchety elder :)

I vote for:
Captain Caveman of the Future!

Eh... I'll see what detritus I can dig out of this shotglass brain of
mine. I've already uncovered that Power Rangers fanfic I thought I
incinerated. ("Scorpina Scalps Skull", "Scorpina Bashes Bulk", and
"Scorpina & Trini Rule the World" didn't make the cut, but they
sounded awesome at the time.)

Terrence Briggs, modernized Battle of the Planets once, without having
seen the show since grammar school.
Peace to you...
