Bunch of PBS shows and celebrity voice actors, as usual, among this
year's Emmy nominees. And peep the technical nominations for the WB
action shows, along with (yet another) nomination for The Batman, in
this season of Justice League crossovers. Why it beat out Legion of
Super Heroes, I have no clue.
The nominating committee for the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards did a
fine job of spreading the wealth among animated contenders yesterday.
PBS, Disney Channel, Discovery Kids, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Cartoon
Network, National Geo Kids and Kids’ WB! were all well-represented in
the nominations list. The June 20 ceremony will be telecast live from
Hollywood’s Kodak Theater on ABC. Here’s a list of some of the
animation-related categories:
Children’s Animated Program
Arthur (PBS)
Charlie and Lola Disney Channel)
Curious George (PBS)
Little Einsteins (Disney Channel)
Peep and the Big Wide World (Discovery Kids)
