Wow, seven Emmys, and five of them for shows that aren't worth pissing on.
The standards for awards have really gone down the toilet, haven't they?

With the possible exception of "My Gym Partner's a Monkey", I don't
recall many posts railing against the shows that were nominated.
Frankly, it seems like most of this group's ammo is spent on the Adult
Swim Sunday night block.

BTW that block is about to get two nice additions: Season 2 of "Frisky
Dingo" and the new series "Lucy: Daughter of the Devil".

Although I was sitting in a theater with sister and her two kids last
month getting their first ever un-asked-for look at "Camp Lazlo", during
those 20-min. Regal cinema family-movie preshow

And, judging from all three reactions...there's one family that won't be
watching afternoon CN any time soon. -_-

Derek Janssen (the fact it was before "Ratatouille" didn't help any, either)

Yay.

They finally pulled that trigger on that, huh? The pilot was a couple
years ago.

They have run the pilot a couple of times, so in one of the "Lucy"
promos, they emphasize (jokingly) that the the episode showing in
September is *not* the pilot!

That's one better done as a series of specials. I mean, the creator has
only managed to think of 4 or so short comics with those character so
how far can you stretch the concept in animation?
