Was he plausible in the role of "jerk"? That's what matters in
character-driven scripts.

Compare that to, say, an episode of Galaxy High I recently saw. The
female lead ignores the male lead's constant attempts to warn her of a
supernova, simply because she's peeved at him. About 2 minutes in, I'm
thinking Indiana Jones: "WE. ARE GOING. TO DIE!!!"

Watch "The Replacements" and "Monster Allergy" and I'll owe you a
doggie biscuit. J&tD and MA need the help more, though.

My I network affiliate broadcasts from a crumby Fairfax station that
doesn't reach my Gaithersburg apartment very well. Their schedule
sucks rocks, too. It's 3 hours of Qubo, preceded and followed by
infomercials. Gotta love the weblets.

I'm better off recording from NBC.

Jacobo Dos Dos is surprisingly solid, too. The odd episode of Larryboy
Stories and Veggietales manage well enough, too.

I know this is shocking to my fellow Saturday Morning sheep, but these
E/I shows are turning out pretty darn well this year. With the
brilliant debut season of Beakman's World airing in syndication, and
The Littles hanging around, the E/I lineup on my airwaves is better
than most of the traditional animation.

Sorry. The Monkees doesn't air on my affiliate.

After laying the pimp hand down on Ghost in the Shell, Grave of the
Fireflies, X: The Motion Picture, Sigma6, Dungeons & Dragons, Galaxy
High, and Voltron in other threads, I might need a break. Ya know it's
hard out here...

Terrence Briggs, who probably shouldn't have the election results in
the background, then
Peace to you...
