I despite hit-and-run posts, but I'm on library time, and this has been
eating at me since last night.
The pacing is turgid, the voice acting is mediocre and barely above dry
line reads, the dialogue is arch and sloppy, the satire broad and dull,
and there are very few human beings anywhere to be found. Everyone
sounds like a stiff approximation of a mimic of a real human Aaron saw
on the bus on his way to the studio.
The commentary on this DVD is the usual "everyone did an awesome job"
stuff. Whatever, nyahgga...
After 6 episodes of this, A-Mac needs to give us something greater than
the intention of his ambition. Animation fans and amatuer sociologists
need to stop soft-pedaling this ineptly executed mediocrity. Enough
with the soft racism of low expectations. Deliver, or else.
Terrence Briggs, sounding like Uncle Ruckus
Peace to you...

Negatory. The show is uneven, but often brilliant. The strip is a
different discussion, and not one for here (any of the heres here).

The strip originally was, a lot of people became dissatisfied with it
towards the later years. It's on "hiatus" now, supposedly it will come
back. The jury's out as to whether that will really happen.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course. Mine differs significantly.
I think the show is great. My personal favorite episode is "Riley Wuz
Here", especially for the Bob Ross character.
