It seems this is another case of a movie misjudged by previews
that ends up an audience favorite . . .:

Actually, the reviews for Enchanted were a little *too* positive across
the board--
While "Alvin"'s were decidedly...MIXED, and just caught the same
Christmas school-vacation wave that "Night at the Museum" caught last year.

Nowadays, no holiday family movie even wants to show its face before
Dec. 26th.

Both contain chipmunks shooting pellets. But "Pip" (in "Enchanted") is
not seen doing this in ads nor does he ever have street bling/hoodies
wear. ...

I read this article this morning. In the paper. We regularly get the
Los Angeles Times. Of those two flicks I only say "Enchanted".

Well, that doesn't explain the audience reaction to the Nov. 11
test screening; like it or not, people liked this movie!
