8/8-10 Weekend Box Office

Information taken from Brandon Gray's
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/

9 8 Wall-E $3,140,083 -31.8%% 2,144 -411 $1,464 $210,206,582
11 10 Space Chimps $1,767,277 -35.0%% 1,631 -503 $1,083 $25,564,347
18 15 Kung Fu Panda $473,427 -24.4%% 408 -112 $1,160 $211,355,837
61 54 Horton Hears a Who $16,779 -19.2%% 49 -12 $342 $154,482,818

This weekend, we'll see if there are enough "Star Wars" completists to
hold up "Clone Wars". Speaking of space, "Fly Me to the Moon" has a limited
starting release this weekend. The few commercials tought that film as the
first 3-D animated feature, though it doesn't look like much of an achievement.

It says it's the first cg (or animated, I forget which they say) feature
made for 3D. Which might not be a lie, but is pretty close.

The trailer I saw for the film in the theater claimed it was the "first ever
animated movie created for 3D", which is an outright lie. You can see this
trailer on YouTube at:
