I'll accept that as a responsible opposing viewpoint. :)

But seriously, we really did put it up as an example of what to do
wrong. First, they don't LOOK like ants. They look like little
centaurs. The 4 legs and 2 arms is the lazy way out. If you take off
the antenna you'd have no way to know those are even bugs faces. And
they're just plain ugly. And noses? Why do ants have noses???

Compare and contrast with the little blue guy in Bug's Life who makes
you smile at first glance, and looks like an ant, even though he only
has 4 limbs and is blue. That's just a wonderful design. And no nose!
