"Shrek the Third" finally made it to dollar cinemas around here. WORST
animation of realistic CGI humans I've ever seen. Stiff movement, creepy
realism, and BAD skin. The film brought back repressed memories over how
horrible the humans in "Final Fantasy: the Spirits Within" looked. And Heaven
help us when a character has to move quickly; a lot of hiccups in the movement.
The writing didn't help either. The movie featured the lamest means of
defeating villains since touchy-feely cliches were invented. The poor king had
to undergo the most tastelessly staged death scene ever. And they wouldn't let
up with the bad oldies pop songs. For all of that this movie still makes
$320M+ ? :-(
This week, let's see if the Simpsons will succeed where the Aqua Teen
Hunger Force failed. :-)
