Not very impressive except for Persepolis. I suppose ATHF made the list
because its ads scared the crap out of the mayor of Boston but
cinematically it doesn't have much going for it. Bee Movie bored me with
its previews before it even started showing and I got fed up with Alvun and
the Chiprats decades ago. Tekkonkinkreet, the only anime on the list, is
an okay film but it's a 2006 release. The Simpsons is better as a TV
series. Then, we have sequels for some God-unknown reason. Rocky won an
Oscar 30 years ago but the sequel of a sequel etc. Rocky Balboa will not.
I guess sequels like Shrek and TMNT crept in out of sheer force of habit.

I haven't seen "Vexille" but have read the reviews. It has its supporters
and detractors. However, even with the negative comments, it appears to be
head and shoulders above this entire list combined. I guess it either was
not submitted or doesn't meet all the criteria. Not that the criteria
appear to be all that stringent considering what seems to have snuck into
the list.
