And like all Robert Zemeckis films, we'll have the usual
young-vs.-really-old-and-tech-illiterate generation gap between "They
look so LIFELIKE!" and "Yeah, we play Playstation 3 too, *and*? :/ "

"Ratatouille" should take all animation awards in a walk.

Only the fact Neil Gaiman did the script might get me to the theater.
I'm not a fan of "realistic" animation, be it CGI or hand drawn.

I didn't have anything really bad to say about "Ratatouille". However,
it's formulaic and lacks originality. It looks like another cookie cut out
of the Pixar cookie mold. Persepolis is the only film that has a modicum
of profundity. However, it could be overlooked for just that reason
considering that "Alvin and the Chipmunks" and unoriginal sequels are being
considered for "outstanding film achievements of 2007".

I REALLY think "Beowulf" is going to BOMB. Because the commercials make
"Beowulf" look EXACTLY like a low budget ripoff of "300". Talk about
overacting. :-P
