A dozen script rewrites later, the latest press-interview articles try
to spin the schizophrenic tone of the movie vs. the marketing with a
strategic we-MEANT-to-do-that approach:
"Disney, fresh off its new success and new direction, decided they were
in a position to gently spoof their old traditions..."
