Software Engineers must have experience in large, complex software development projects. Employee should be well versed in the use of software development methodologies and have experience across the major phases of the software project life cycle including product requirements, technical design, software construction, and testing. * Bachelor%%27s Degree preferred. * 1-2 years of sql programming in an oracle environment. * 1-2 years of PL/SQL programming. * Sqlplus scripting. * Ability to use the oracle import/export utilities, sqlloader. * Ability to run the oracle installer load oracle software. * Understanding of how an oracle schema is constructed with respect to tables, indexes, constraints, triggers, procedures etc. * Ability to read an XML document. * Some Java experience is desirable but not required. * Unix experience is highly desirable, though must be able to function in a windows environment as well. * Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to work flexibly with an application development team. * Ability to read and understand a Data Model Diagram. * Ability to understand system build processes. Experience with ANT is desirable, but not required.
