Description "Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead training development project, including providing direction to other developers assigned to the project - Analyze jobs, performance and target audiences using group or individual interview process, consistent with the project plan and within the defined scope of work and project timelines, as required by the project - Design training using analysis data to produce applications based training design, as required by the project - Develop applications based (action learning) training materials using analysis data and design document(s) in cooperation with subject matter experts, and in the media indicated by the training design - Conduct subject matter expert, master performer and customer interviews required to develop materials, and to review materials throughout the life of the project - Deliver instruction as required, including leading all levels of the class using demonstrations, lectures, Q & A and class mentoring - Remain current with technical area of project, and with the media in which training is to be delivered - Perform duties as assigned by the supervisor or project lead Required Skills/Experience: - Experience project managing training development - Demonstrated leadership and people management skills - Able to conduct a training needs analysis, in cooperation with supervisor and subject matter experts - Proficient in the design of applications based training materials including selection of appropriate delivery media - Proficient developing instructional materials using technologies employed to deliver instruction, including creating job aids, classroom training, computer based training, web deployment instruction, etc. as required by assigned project - Oral communication skills, including strong interviewing and listening skills - Technical writing - Organizational skills proficient in planning and management - Proficient in the use of the current versions of OnLine software applications - Strong interactive training delivery skills, as required by project Required Education/Training: - Four-year degree in technical area or Instructional Systems Design or equivalent experience Technical background as required by project training
