Description: Windows Developer / Architect Position Number: 40403026 Bethesda, MD posted 06/11/08 Requirements Responsibilities: - Work to build out of an enterprise wide development environment to include MOSS 2007 and SQL 2005 at a minimum. Additional Microsoft technologies could be part of the development environment based on the requirements gathered and needs of the customer. - Work to integrate SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services with MOSS. Design, develop, create, and support SQL Reports, facilities, and systems. - Work on the development of an enterprise-wide logical application architecture and the development of disk layouts to adequately plan for the MOSS deployment. - Work on system configurations, including shared service providers (SSP), web application zones and search. - Work on enterprise-wide authentication processes providing single-sign on capabilities that leverages the banks identity management system. - Work on establishing a scalable, highly secure MOSS Enterprise environment including load balancing for a peak of 5000 concurrent users. - Work on the integration with the Exchange server. - Assist with overview and management of third party providers. - Create / develop / review custom web parts and MOSS configurations as needed. - Provide best practices for setting up MOSS farm environments - Provide development support and advice; making recommendations when out-of-the-box functionality can be used to minimize the customization and coding to meet the requirements of the project.

Requirements: - Candidate must demonstrate solid, proven administration and development skills and feel comfortable leading a team as well as working individually. - Must have experience in integrating enterprise content with MOSS 2007 including content indexing, personalization, restricting access to content, etc. - Must be able to generate complex reports using SQL Reporting Services. - Must have practical development experience and knowledge of the MOSS 2007 technology: - Portal taxonomy - Portal application and platform governance - Custom information policies - Auditing - Self-service site provisioning and creation - Work-flow driven solutions - My-Sites - SQL Server including SQL Analysis, Integration and Reporting Services - Master Pages and Content Types - Page Layouts - Work Flow - MOSS 2007, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio.Net - InfoPath 2007 Form Development - Customizing the Page Editing Toolbar and Site Actions Menus - Content versioning - Custom features and views

- Must have a good understanding of Web Services, SOAP, XML technologies for integration purposes. - Must be able to quickly understand the overall business strategy, to analyze the business processes, and to develop technical solutions to support the business strategy. - Must have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently and in a team environment and collaborate with peers on technical solutions. - Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken language. Must be able to clearly articulate complex technical issues to all levels of the organization. - Must be able to lead and facilitate technical and non-technical discussions and be able to make presentations to middle and senior management. - Must have an excellent understanding of the various data formats and data transformation processes and procedures.

Experience: - Minimum five (5) years of proven hands-on Windows application development and support experience. - Bachelors degree in MIS, computer science, or equivalent level of experience. - Three (3) to five (5) years hands-on development experience with: - MOSS Designer - Microsoft IIS - .Net Framework - VB.Net - Microsoft SQL Server - Visual Studio.Net - Active Directory - ETL development - SQL Server Integration Services - SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports/Business Objects or Microsoft Access

- Solid experience with structured project and SDLC methodologies. - Banking industry experience preferred.
