Ottawa based broker for buying a new car in the US?

Anyone know of an Ottawa based broker for buying a new car in the US?
I'm looking for someone who will take care of all the paperwork and
importation. With the CDN$ at par, there is no way I'm paying $8k
more for the same car sold in the US.

I am with you on that one... the paperwork however does not look /that/
bad, but I agree that if an importer can be found for a reasonable
price, it would be worth it.
On the RIV Site at this link:
http://www.riv.ca/english/html/us_vehicle_admissibility.html

it links to a search engine on the Transport Canada site of
'pre-cleared' importers. I am not certain if they do the entire deal
paperwork and all, but may be a starting point for phone calls.... Post
back! :) I am not quite ready for a new car yet, but will be sooner
than later, otherwise I would probably have a %%100 answer for you!

This may sound overly obvious, but couldn't you just goto the
nearest dealer over the border and let them take care of the paperwork?

Why is there an $8K surcharge ina Ca?
