I have subscribed to opera.mac.
message titles downloaded.
How do I fetch new ones?

When I click on the opera.mac item in the left window it says it is
fetching groups but no new message appear in the window. And I know there
is new messages.

There is a Check/Send button with a dropdown arrow. Use the dropdown to
specifically fetch new items for subscribed newsgroups on a server. In the
account setting, you can also set a fixed check interval, and set the
account to be included in the manual check when simply pressing the
Check/Send button (or pressing Ctrl+K).
