Out of curiousity, I used another workstation that has the Novell Client
on it as well and this time, after restarting the computer (and having to
open the application window to start the object), the application ran and
collected the user profile's DNA and migrated it to the proper
destination. Just doesn't work with only the ZENworks Desktop Management
agent installed.

the middletier can not be used to transfer files from / to the server, it
can only be used by NAL to copy files for Snapshot Apps's or caching
purposes..
