Hi Forum,
I always wonder what UNIQUE parameter do, inside sles 8 network
configuration files (/etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth*). The rest of
file content seems normal to me.

example:::
# grep UNIQUE /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth0
UNIQUE='LHB6.RfYI5sfd_88'
#
