We have been experiencing abends on our iPrint servers for the past
week.

From abend.log: " The CPU encountered a problem executing code in
LIBC.NLM. The problem may be in that module or in data passed to that
module by a process owned by APACHE2.NLM."

The problem appears to be caused by jobs from Mac OS X 10.5 machines
that have applied Apple's Security Update 2008-002.

It'0s really strange that the broker is listed as using a license. It is
the manager that accesses print queues and int he specific case of print
queue usage, it might indeed be possible that additional licenses are
used. However that shouldn't affect the broker who has nothing to do with
print queues.

BTW on NetWare 6.5 (including SBS) you are actually supposed to use
iManager for NDPS/iPrint configuration.

We've recently migrated a number of 6.5.5 servers to 6.5.7 and are
seeing multiple abends on NDPWGW. The abends don't stop the server
from working, but we're concerned. Under SP7 they seem to suspend an
instance of ndpsgw, then spawn a new instance. Is anyone else seeing
this?

LEt me see if I can get some information from Novell on this.

Unfortunately, many people missed these TIDs and therefore did not apply
the hotfixes, especially since Microsoft avoids making it too easy to get
these patches as the patches fix problems mostly experianced by
Microsoft's competition and not by themselves

But this is just one printer. I though you said you had other pritners
where iprint direct was working.
