>when I proxy to the job resource do I not carry forward my own sharing?
Not for documents, they have their own security system - see TID 10080972
But if it is just a search folder, can't you just recreate that folder
within your own account ?
Cheers Dave

Just saw this post after vacation--it is worrisome for me--did either of you
determine what, if any, configuration issue led to this developement during
migration? We are planning a very similar migration in the very near future
but have 2 very large libraries and 2 smaller ones. Any information on
gotchas would be most appreciated. If we experience the same issue, we will
not be able to go live on the migrated system until a resolution is found.
It may help to have the support incident number you already logged as
reference and fuel for a resolution if we also end up filing an incident.

Perhaps I just missed this in the documentation, but is there a way to hide
a library object from all but selected users who will have access to the
docs in that library. I know I can uncheck access rights and assign them
only for selected users who can access the documents, but I would like to
hide the ibrary object as well, best that only those who have access even
know the library exisits in this case. Thanks.

dmdd is the properties file for DMS, dmdl is the log file, the bit that
you get to see through the activity list tab, dmdd stores the information
for all the other property tabs.
Splitting of the indexer to another POA won't gain you anything, What
errors are you still seeing now ?
Cheers Dave

Hello, hope someone has a fix.
In caching mode, delete document from caching library, deleted
from online library / master library. If you search on line it
said document doesn't exist, if you search caching it find the
reference however you cannot open it because its been deleted.
How do you get rid of that reference permanently? No matter how
many times you delete it, a search will always find it again which
tells me the indexs of the caching mailbox are not getting updated
properly.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am in the process of changing security rights (adding a user to all
documents) using the Mass Document Operation, the following is now
occuring:
- A user tries to open a document in the Library that was in process
of MDO.
- User gets a C020 error and is unable to open the document.
(note - Document can be viewed with a R-Click on the
Doc Reference)
- The backend POA agent (version 6.5.7 by the way) shows the following
error:
Error: Numeric overflow (GT upper bound) converting
to numeric type [C020] User:

Yes, it doesn't "bother" anything - however, it doesn't show up in WebAccess
if I remember correctly.
