Howdy,
Running Groupwise 6.5.3 on Netware.
Here's the scenario:
We have UserA and UserB who both work in the company.
UserA needs to send out emails, but Sometimes have the "reply to" value set
to UserB's email address.
Basically, UserA is like a Secretary, and will sometimes send out emails on
behalf of UserB.
Fundamentally, how would i get this done?
I was thinking of maybe creating an Alias for UserA(?)
But can the Alias be set so that the "reply to" adddress will be equal to
UserB's address?
i am not sure.
Or If you have a better idea, that would work to. = ]
thank you

We are running GW 6 SP4 on a Netware 6 SP5 system
GW is currently set for Access Mode of Client/Server and Direct, is this
optimal/problematic. Have been experiencing random database
corruption lately and I think this may have been changed from
Client/Server Only in an effort to troubleshoot the problems, but I am
not certain, so I am asking for advice on which is the best choice.

The only other reason that error would occur is if two instances of
Apache are trying to listen on the same IP address. When you do MODULES
APACHE2 at the console, do you already see an instance running (assuming
the ap2webup.ncf instance isn't loaded).
Try this:
UNLOAD APACHE2 (which will kill all apaches loaded) then to AP2WEBUP.
Does it load?

Hi Uwe,
Money is actually not a factor (within reason).
This company would prefer to purchase known product with tech support.
I belive GWAVA is like this.(?)
Are there any other commercial products?

I've tried this thinking the same thin, it does seem to create the certificates, but Apache continues to de the same thing and give the same error.

Run pkidiag on the server and fix any problems it finds with your
certificates. They likely expired, and now Apache can't load because
they are invalid. Pkidiag will recreate them.

I just tried your URL and didn't get a 503... I get a 404 from Apache,
which indicates that Apache has no knowledge of how to hand-off requests
for /servlet/webacc to Tomcat. I also notice that several of the
graphics are missing on the initial page, which often indicates that
you're running the wrong instance of Apache.
You appear to be running on NW6.5, and if so then the apache instance
responsible for webaccess is started via ap2webup.ncf, and the instance
of Tomcat is started via tomcat4.ncf. Can you verify that both of those
are loaded?

Thanks for the response, Tomcat4 is running and Apache appeared to be running, but wasn't. It had a press any key to continue when I viewed the page. I did and it unloaded itself. So now that the problem seems to be narrowed down, any ideas why apache seems to unload itself with no visable errors or codes? We are running Apache 2.0.54.
