  BM3.7 upgrade questions

Author: sjdimare
Date: Jan 5, 2007 10:57

Hello all,

I currently am running BM3.7 with all latest patches on a NW6 SP5 servers
(2 configured).

We ware starting to plan the migration to NW6.5 and I have read somewhere
that BM3.7 is not supported on NW6.5.

So, the question is, must I upgrade BM to version 3.8 before I upgrade to
NW6.5?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Steve D.

Re: Critical Error after applying BM3.8sp5 patch

The new proxy.cfg doesn't seem to reduce the frequency of the
warning...fortunately, the warning is not really a major problem. I
guess we can still live with it... so far, the patch and the new
proxy.cfg don't seem to affect our BM. The warnings and the hard-reset
are a bit annoying but tolerable.

Anyway, thank you very much for your help, Craig.

Re: BorderManager / FTP via NAT

Author: Mirko Heiringhoff

I configured one of our NW65 Server as an FTP server and point to it via NAT
from my BMger Server.
The FTP security settings are not set to anonymous login, so I have to
create a user with a password for the login and rights to the desired
folder.
But after IE7 was released I have a strange issue when I try to connect to
the FTP server from the outside.
With IE6 this user only saw the desired folder. With IE7 this user can see
the SYS, the _ADMIN and all other volumes of the FTP-Server.
If he clicks on these folders they are empty except for the _ADMIN folder
with holds a Manage NSS Folder with a files.cmd file.
Why / What could that be? In the FTP settings I configured a base directory
on another volume (DATA:/FTP/Customer).
Any ideas?

Regards
Mirko
