Tool has CANCELED Wednesday's appearance at the FREQUENCY FESTIVAL IN
SALZBURG, AUSTRIA due to illness. Maynard has contracted a really bad
throat infection which he has been fighting for the past couple of days,
but, unfortunately, it has now reached the point where the band has to
cancel.

Upon completion of the U.S. summer tour, Chris was diagnosed with
strained vocal chords and the doctor strongly advised that he take 10
days to two weeks off from singing onstage to prevent injury. Chris
deeply regrets any disappointment this may cause his fans in Poland,
Hungary, and Austria, and promises to come back as soon as he can.

Al is het maar for old times sake: bij de eerste Lowlands stond Tool zondag
als eerste (?) geprogrammeerd. 'Why can't we be sober' werd door een paar
honderd katerige koppen meegeknikt.
Deze keer ben ik nuchter want rij ik terug. Mag jij met een dronken hoofd
meeschudden ;-)

Tool zal wel gewoon door gaan, want ze staan dit weekend ook nog op een
ander festival en die melden dat ze gewoon komen.
Niet te vroeg juichen dus.
