Our company invites applications for the position of Technical (Sr.)Associate. This position leads the development of the process, equipment and engineering technology and expertise required to achieve the strategic business imperatives for the Oral Care category worldwide. This individual will implement projects that deliver against the Global Supply Chain and category business strategies. The specific area of focus for this individual is related to chemical process design and development. He/she will build effective relationships with Supply Chain, R&D, Global Business Development, Plant Engineering/Operations, Quality and EOHS as well as outside consultants and process equipment suppliers. This position is responsible for product/process/equipment development, scale up, and the design and implementation of capital projects. They are responsible for margin improvement and other continuous improvement activities as well as identification, development and implementation of new technologies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Lead technical and engineering initiatives for the commercialization of new products. Provide continued technical assistance to the plant during development, start-up and on-going production to ensure KPI attainment and continuous improvement. * In partnership with R&D and Global Packaging, deliver new product bundles technical and consumer preferred performance, as measured by key project deliverables. * Designs optimal plant layouts and material flows considering standardization in site, layout, and equipment design. * Design and execute laboratory/pilot experiments scale up for commercialization of new products. Use appropriate internal business systems and statistical methodologies to plan pilot work. * Understands the basic concepts of process control, and can direct experts in systems implementation. * Uses a systematic approach to track, communicate, and manage the cost and schedule of projects. * Communicates effectively with leadership to transfer information, request resources, and ask for decisions * Networks with Global Supply Chain Engineers and other business partners to drive joint identification and alignment of goals.

Qualifications and Competencies This position requires the following qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering * At least 10 years of experience in engineering design and installation * Ability to travel up to 50%% of the time Preferred qualifications include: * Prior experience with continuous processing and post addition. * Participation in a major category product commercialization initiative. * Knowledge of the CEB, eMWO and Capital Procurement. * Knowledge of GMP and IQ / OQ / PQ validation preferred. * Working knowledge of EOHS and Quality standards.
