[slrn] protect articles from catchup longterm?

Hi all, is there a way to protect articles from catchup longterm? I've several articles I want to keep for example FAQ's etc. and each time I use slrn I must type the '*' command to avoid loosing it when I mark all the headers read. How can I mark articles permanently? Thanks.
