APEWS LISTED? READ THIS FOR HELP

Author: adam

You may be reading this because you found that
an IP address from which you send email is
included in a listing at "APEWS.org." Before you
post a message about that listing, read below.

"APEWS" is not known to be in use anywhere in
the world to reject email. In spite of their FAQ,
posting here, or anywhere, will have no effect
on your email, and neither will the "listing."

You need not be concerned about it. "APEWS"
is not a real blacklist. It is a hoax, ginned up to
take advantage of people who are not technically
sophisticated. If you post here, you may see responses
from this group which include dire warnings about
the consequences of the listing; disregard them.

There may be followups to this message whose
authors attempt to convince you that your email
will be rejected everywhere because of the "APEWS"
listing. Do not be deceived.

First off go and read the APEWS FAQ and you will see that posting your
removal request here is NOT going to help you no one here is APEWS
and can NOT remove this listing.

http://www.apews.org/?page=faq

A41:

" Note that posting messages in these newsgroups & lists will not have
any effect on APEWS listings, only the discontinuation of spam and/or
spam support will.
Abusing these newsgroups & lists by posting removal request you will
make a fool of yourself and are at risk to end up in additional
private blocklists, so think twice before posting."

Q42: My IP address/range is being listed by APEWS but I'm not a
spammer and I just signed up for this/these address(s). What can I do
to be removed from the list?
A42: APEWS is just an automated system, if spam or spam involvement
(hosting spammers, selling spamware) from your IP address/range
ceases, it will drop out of the list in time.

Ok Please read this before posting a removal request to
news.admin.net-abuse.email or news.admin.net-abuse.blocklisting

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting, each time, a
different result.

You mean something like telling the resident crackpots to stop advising
people that they need to do idiotic and expensive fixes to get off a
meaningless DNSBL?
