sheesh, some system they have.
A person named Nicole has been going about using my
email address to sign up for things and low and behold
a shutterfly email pops into my inbox.
"Nicole, your shopping cart still has items"
Contacting shutterfly help is an exercise in stupidity
as they can't seem to grasp the fact it's NOT MY BLOODY
ACCOUNT and some wanker, one crack pipe short of a holiday,
has signed me up in a system that has no closed loop
confirmation yet has credit card information for billing.
Just imagine the grief I could cause if so inclined.
It's BOFH time. So I check the account and request a
password reset which of course transfers the account
to me and allows a password change. I change it using
random cut and paste (even I do not know what it is).
Now it's locked and the only way this Nicole is going
to get the account back is by contacting customer
service and fixing the problem.

Suck on it - Jeremy Jaynes ! ( http://www.spamhaus.org/rokso/
evidence.lasso?rokso_id=ROK1117)
So much for the freespeech (hint) argument !!
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- A divided Virginia Supreme Court affirmed the
nation's first felony conviction for illegal spamming on Friday,
ruling that Virginia's anti-spamming law does not violate free-speech
rights.
Jeremy Jaynes of Raleigh, N.C., considered among the world's top 10
spammers in 2003, was convicted of massive distribution of junk e-mail
and sentenced to nine years in prison.
Almost all 50 states have anti-spamming laws. In the 4-3 ruling, the
court rejected Jaynes' claim that the state law violates both the
First Amendment and the interstate commerce clause of the U.S.
Constitution

Several turdlets floating into my network from 69.6.x.x addresses.
Shipping them off to Sightings, but it's the "Your macbook is on it's
way" spam.
Is Snotty back? Did he sell Wholesalebandwidth?
Null routing of the 69.6.0.0/18 and 69.6.64.0/20

NEED QUICK EASY CASH???
Turn $6.00 into $60,000...read this to find out how!!!
READING THIS COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!!
I found this on a bulletin board like this one and decided to try it.
A
little while back, I was
browsing through a newsgroup, just like you are now, and came across
an
article similar to this
that said you could make thousands of dollars within weeks with only
an
initial investment of
$6.00! So I thought, "Yeah right, this must be a scam", but like most
of us, I was curious, so I
kept reading. Anyway, it said that you need to send $1.00 to each of
the 6 names and address
stated in the article. You then place your own name and address in the
bottom of the list at #6,
and post the article in at least 200 newsgroups. (There are thousands)
No catch, that was it. So ...
