did I blink and miss something?

Author: Kelly Bert Manning
Date: May 9, 2008 18:30

Dr. Prof. Attorney Jonathon Ezor seems to have decided that discretion is
the better part of boldness in regards to providing an amicus brief or
making any public statements in connection with recent litigation involving
blowhard. Did I blink and miss the good Doctor's contributions to the
resolution of this litigation?

Quite a contrast to earlier public statements:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2006/oct/19/guardianweeklytechnologysection...
Jonathan Ezor, assistant professor of law and technology at the Touro Law
Center in Huntington, New York, comments: "Might Spamhaus eventually get
acquired by a US company? Possibly - what would a default judgment do to
the proposed deal in that case? What if Spamhaus's executives were
travelling in the US?" The question carries echoes of the problems that
executives of UK-based online gambling companies have faced during US
stopovers.

Comparing Spamhaus to an illegal gambling company is quite a stretch, to say
the least, although "get acquired by a US company" is straying close to the
realm of speculative fiction.

  blogspot spam?

The spam using blogspot URLs has completely dried up here, I haven't
seen any in a couple of weeks. Just curious if it's a strictly local
phenomenon.

  Can I Save My Relationship

Author: protected67q1ka
Date: May 9, 2008 13:06

What if you could recapture your ex lovers mind, heart and
soul?...Wipe the slate clean? Turn back time? Even if you feel right
now that your situation is too far gone…too screwed up …or just plain
too darn complicated?

You already know how hard it is to just even wake up and roll out of
bed in the morning. You leave your radio off on your way to work
because every song is a painful reminder of him. You can't even bear
to eat at the same restaurants you took her to. And if that isn't bad
enough, you have to cope with the loss of friends and family that are
on their side.

Did you know that most relationships can be salvaged? You may find it
difficult to believe that almost every break up for whatever reason…
infidelity, plain old lost passion, loss of interest, a stolen heart
and worse.

I have a blog that has more information on some of what I've been
writing about on relationships. If you feel like checking it out, you
can find it here: http://winningyouback.blogspot.com It's entitled
The Magic of Making Up - 10 Tips to a Happy Relationship.

  URL disguised in email

Author: postscript
Date: May 9, 2008 06:26

Hi, I got an email today that has some strange URLs in it. When I
mouse over the URL in Eudora it shows one URL but when I click on it,
it goes to a different location. When I looked at the code, it was
something like this (I have changed the URLs for simplicity)

blocked::http://www.chicagotribune.com/" href="http://
www.google.com/">Hotline to answer questions

when I moused over it, Eudora's little status bar at the bottom of the
window showed the link going to google, but when I clicked it, I was
taken to the chicagotribune site. What is this? I am not familiar with
the "blocked" element and am not sure why it is behaving this way. It
bothers me because I had been used to relying on Eudora showing me
where a URL was going to take me before I clicked on it.

I'd be grateful for any info. I didn't get far googling, unfortunately
the searchs seem to dump the :: so I am not getting much.
