I just got a completely bogus abuse report from "junkemailfilter.com".
It gave a reason line:

* Reason: whitelisted - Blacklisted Link - X=pascal H=mail.xxxxxxxx.com [210.76.192.14] HELO=[mail.xxxxxxxx.com] F=[angie@xxxxxxxx.com] T=[jane.doe@xxxxxxxx.net] S=[New order]

Why would they send an automated report with something like this? They
solicit no responses except a form removal, and when I went to "remove"
the listed IP, it claimed it wasn't on the list.

Are these folks competent? I don't see how they can be....sending automated
complaints went out about a decade ago, didn't it?

I was reading Dave's latest comedy piece filed in the Illinois court,
and got to thinking along these lines, with a bit of parody inserted for
good effect:

If we liken Comcast to Joe Average, and e360 to the common house fly,
e360 is saying that even though it buzzed continuously around Joe's
head, aggravating Joe to action, and there was a law specifically
stating that Comcast can use a swatter to swat any flies that is
bothering it, in this case because the fly announced its presence and
intent by announcing its presence by it's loud "BUZZZZZ" sound, Comcast
had no right to use the fly swatter.

Yeah, that'll wash.

Yet, when we really think about it, this all seems like nonsense.

When else would we make such a large purchase and rarely use the item
out of fear that it would break or scratch? Would we do that with a
brand new high-end car? A major appliance? Or what about a house?

Would we purchase a beautiful house by the ocean, but choose to squat
in a condemned shack instead, so we could be sure that our real home,
the one we spent all of our money to purchase, was unscathed the few
times we did decide to use it? Of course we wouldn't. That would be
ridiculous.
