Hi Jamie,

Seems your provider goes nuts.

host (configured in the webif to accept your mail at this time) said:
554 5.7.1 : Relay access denied

I suggest you should do some trick to still get email:

Configure your firewall and MTA at your real destination IP that it accepts
any SMTP traffic at any port you like for example 2025, if sourceaddress is
the IP of the machine you got access to by yesterday.
(Really do not any additional checks)

Then change configuration at that IP's webif to your real destination IP and
port you have chosen for example 2025
You have to write it as [1.2.3.4:2025]

Then all should work again.

Enjoy.

A little help identifying a spammer?

Author: Someone with a business
Date: Mar 15, 2008 17:51

I wonder if I could get a little help. I run an e-mail service along
with web hosting. I'd say we're small to midrange in size, five figure
customer base. We're sustaining a bounce flood that has become a DOS
attack. We're extremely clean with no messages in sightings or anywhere
else for our domain (we keep a very tight reign on it). I don't want to
mention it here in case the attacks are deliberate and I also don't want
copy cats (but I'll e-mail those of you I've conversed with before with
the details if wanted). I suspect it's a scammer that has gotten very
frustrated with us recently because he hasn't been able to sneak an
account past us.

Hello everyone - I'm back. I miss you all! :-D

Well, guys, apart from actually deleting my newsagent program for a
little bit more than a year, and just forgetting about nanae (with the
exception of the Scoville list I belong to), I get a post from a
"MaryCeleste" from a national politics board that I belong to (I'm
sure a Google or two will determine which one I belong to) bringing me
a greet from nanae, so I decide to rejoin the fray, I suppose.

RL, I have been pretty goddamn busy setting up with my dad a new
business venture both in Phoenix and Denver (with one being set up in
Chicago soon), and with my father also fighting lymphoma again (he's
going under high dose chemo before the SCT on March 25th - clifto
should relate, sort of). I have been pretty busy RL. At least I'm
happy with my RL stuff, and do go on from there. The past 5 years has
been very troubling for me... but that's done, and I move on.

So with that said, I await the names of the usual kooks to kf
immediately, and what's the latest.. I see Obamaspam, yet another
spammer pleading guilty, a few loose ends that Comcast hasn't quite
caught up - but the funny thing, when I pulled the headers, it goes
back almost 6 years ago.... and that's over a million posted!
