Haven't seen this quoted before. From SANS NewsBytes Vol 10 Num. 9:

FTC Asks Court to Hold Alleged MySpace Hijackers in Contempt
(January 31, 2008)

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has asked a US district court to hold
alleged MySpace hijackers in contempt for violating an earlier FTC order
that bars them from unfair and deceptive practices. Walter...

Was a hijacked blog.

Blogspot/Google restored the original content of the blog two days
ago. It is a blog about business plans and how to write them.

The hijacker had inserted sexual material, but that is all completely
gone as of two days ago.

Rackspace forwarding complaints to spammers for listwashing

Yeah, I know the subject line won't surprise anyone, but perhaps I'll
vent anyway...

Been getting bombarded by a persistent spammer truthout.org at my
university email address. After several complaints, I received notice
today
-- from the spammer -- that my "unsubscribe request" will be
honored.

It's enough to make you sick...

This is the source of the automated phone calls in Pennsylvania that are
attacking the Governor's health care plan. I am pretty sure who owns it,
but I want to verify it before I publish that entity's name all over the
Internet. (Reverse phone lookups don't work.)

When I spoke with the entity in question, they said the call was legal
because, as a political ad, it's not subject to the Do Not Call List.
However (not legal advice, I am not a lawyer)

http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/47/227.html
§ 227. Restrictions on use of telephone equipment

(3) Artificial or prerecorded voice systems
The Commission shall prescribe technical and procedural standards for
systems that are used to transmit any artificial or prerecorded voice
message via telephone. Such standards shall require that—
(A) all artificial or prerecorded telephone messages
(i) shall, at the beginning of the message, state clearly the identity
of the business, individual, or other entity initiating the call, and
(ii) shall, during or after the message, state clearly the telephone
number or address of such business, other entity, or individual...

The call in question was noncompliant with provisions (i) and (ii) above.

You copied the original. The mail headers surely (or should have)
indicated that this is in quoted printable format (8 bit characters
can be represented by =xx where xx is the HEX value of the byte
and a line ending with = indicates that the "=" should be removed
and the line joined to the following line with no space - because
"=" is a special character, to show an "=" one uses "=3D" (3D is
the hex value of the ascii code for an equals sign)). When displayed
the programme should/will remove the printed quotable encoding.

Is the head about to cut off the Storm virus ?

Lets hope this news item is correct and the various law enforcement
agencies are able to get them in court.

Storm's Creators Face a Storm of Their Own
By Andy Patrizio

American and Russian law enforcement agencies have finally identified
the criminals behind the Storm worm, one of the nastiest pieces of
malware to ever hit the Internet.

Now comes the hard part: arresting them.

Storm has been one of the toughest worms to eradicate because it was
crafted so well. It mutates every 30 minutes, making it impossible for
signature-based antivirus products to catch it, and there are no
central command and control servers to take out like most other worms.

Once a computer is infected, any kind of malicious code can be
downloaded, from a spam bot to a key logger. It has been most commonly
used to send out spam.
