May I ask one question?

First, are these two statements true?

1. The ip address of the machine from which the server directly
receives a message is hard to forge.

2. There are anonymous email services which will allow to send
messages using a fake ip address.

The question is: is it possible that these anonymous email sevices
forge the last ip address mentioned in 1?
