Can we talk about me again?

Damn, I became old news so quickly! ;-)

I'm healing up. Wanting to walk more. I've been walking around the
house, but when Francine asked if I wanted to go sit on the deck, I
said I wanted to go for a walk instead, so we walked around the
outside of her house.

I'm oozing. Got some yellow fluid leaking out of one of the
incisions. Not a lot. The amount doesn't fall into the worry
category according to the instructions they gave me to refer to.

I'm sleeping well. Still have to be careful getting into and out of
bed. Have to avoid using my stomach muscles.

But, I'm getting better. Haven't used my leg bag yet. Just using the
larger one that I'm supposed to sleep with.

Now I know what the "old ball and chain" feels like.

She jumped on the bed, not me. I'm a bit leery of getting some sort
of infection from her at this point though. Not my cat either. My
girlfriend's cat.

Vicodin.

My ass seriously perked up today. I want to go for a walk, but it's
in the upper 80's right now.

Vicoden seems pretty light considering the
circumstances.

They gave me a little dilaudid in the hospital the first night. Not
much. 3mg. Not sure what they had in the iv.

The thing about the robotic is the minimal invasiveness and quick
recovery time.

I'm taking half the max recommended vicodin dose, and I probably
didn't even need it today.

Only big pain point is the incision right next to the belly button.
It's larger than the other ones, so they could get the prostate out.

I'll try to post some pics in a bit. I've got one I took of myself
with my cell camera the night of the surgery. Not pretty. Kinda
eerie.

I have been busy a while and have not read the group and will be away
in Scotland guiding a tour tomorrow so wont even read your response I
guess. I dont even know what you had done. But it sounds like a load
of discomfort. Anyway I wish youa speedy recovery.

Peace,

Jock

I had my colors done, and most of my insides were in harmony, but my
prostate, being a spring color, just didn't go with the deep winter
tint of my overall persona, so I had it removed. And just by bit of
luck, they found out the prostate was cancerous, so I figure it all
works out in the end. Actually, I don't really want to talk much
about "in the end". I've had one too many urologists' fingers up my
butt for the near term.
