Damn, I became old news so quickly! ;-)
I'm healing up. Wanting to walk more. I've been walking around the
house, but when Francine asked if I wanted to go sit on the deck, I
said I wanted to go for a walk instead, so we walked around the
outside of her house.
I'm oozing. Got some yellow fluid leaking out of one of the
incisions. Not a lot. The amount doesn't fall into the worry
category according to the instructions they gave me to refer to.
I'm sleeping well. Still have to be careful getting into and out of
bed. Have to avoid using my stomach muscles.
But, I'm getting better. Haven't used my leg bag yet. Just using the
larger one that I'm supposed to sleep with.
Now I know what the "old ball and chain" feels like.

The Rolling Stones Movie directed by Martin Scorsese. I went to see it
last week. Liked it too.
You can say whatever you like about Jagger but I wouldnt mind looking
like him when I am 65 years old. The concert in The Beacon theatre NYC
was good too. Very sexy duet with Jagger and Christine Aguilera.
The Stones are the ultimate bad boys. Have always been a fan.
Peace,
Jock

Thank you very much. I could certainly go water some trees right now,
a lot of them, with my catheter bag.
Got to Francine's last night. Got discharged from the hospital 24
hours after surgery was completed. Had a drain in me for a while,
through my abdomen wall, generating what seemed to be Hawiian Punch.
They finally got that out.
Timeline:
Check-in: 12:30 Wed.
Surgery: 2:30pm
Back to room: 6:00pm Wed
Did not sleep a wink
Up and walking: 8:30am Thurs
Lymph drain bag removed: 4:30pm
In the car and hitting every bump in San Francisco: 6pm
Finally getting home after one pharmacy fiasco after another: 9pm.
Was able to get some sleep. Able to find a sleep position.
Thanks for the card. Much appreciated.

DETROIT - A Girl Scout has financed her trip to Europe with Thin
Mints, Samoas and Do-Si-Dos, possibly breaking a national record in
the process.
Jennifer Sharpe, a 15-year-old from Dearborn, sold 17,328 boxes of
Girl Scout cookies this year, which shatters her troop's old record
and is believed to be a national record, though Girl Scouts of the USA
doesn't track individual sales.
"It's always been one of those goals I wanted to accomplish," Sharpe
said Wednesday.

Why does this bother me? I'm not a prude, nor do I consider myself
particularly closed minded about most things.
If one poses an argument that breasts are exposed in public is erotic,
well, the counter argument is usually "breast feeding isn't sexual,
it's a natural function"
well, so is taking a crap.
"My baby is hungry, this is the way he/she feeds"
Well, I like my wife's nipples, they comfort me, but if she "fed" me
in a restaurant, it would raise a few eyebrows.
And I have my own double standard, if its discreet, covered, that's
fine, but the big old floppy boob exposed to the world, that seems
different.
Maybe I have a triple standard.....maybe if the woman is really hot,
it's not so bad.
I don't know.
It's just in my craw today, even tho it's not something you would ever
see in Asia.

....I'm going to be knocked out like a heavyweight and gigged like a
ouaouaron.
Then I'll be pissing blood for a few days, and walking around with a
piss bag on my leg.
In one week I'll be out of my mind wanting the catheter removed. In
two weeks, I'll have the catheter removed. Then I'll have to learn to
piss all over again as I won't have all the same working valves in
me.
Then I'll spend a few months to a year trying to figure out whether
I'll ever get it up again. Did you know that Viagra costs $16 per
TABLET?
Then I'll spend seven years waiting to see if I"m cancer free.
Great. I figured I'd know something tomorrow. I'm tired of being "on
hold".
Hope everyone is enjoying their breakfast. Wish me luck.
