Firefox -> Thunderbird on Linux

Hi,

I am running Mandriva linux, with the KDE desktop. Under that I run
Firefox 2.0.0.16. When I click on a 'mailto:' link, Firefox opens Kmail
to compose an email. I would like it to open Thunderbird instead, which
is my default mail/news reader.

Could anyone someone please tell me which incantations to mutter, and/or
which buttons to press to make this happen?

Thx!
k

Not present in the linux version. Instead, use about:config and point
the network.protocol-handler.app.mailto preference to thunderbird; e.g.
/usr/local/bin/thunderbird
