Postal lottery: Turn $6 into $60,000 in 90 days, GUARANTEED
I found this in a news group and decided to try it. A little while
back, I was browsing through news groups, just like you are now
and came across a message just like this, that said you could
make thousands of dollars within weeks with only an initial investment
of $6.00!!!
So I thought yeah right, this must be a scam!!! But like most of us, I
was curious, so I kept reading. Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 to
each of the 6 names and addresses stated in the message. You then
place your own name and address at the bottom of the list at #6 and
post the message in at least 200 news groups. (There are thousands).
No catch, that was it.

Just upgraded to Firefox 3.0 on XP SP2.
If I open my bookmarks, I see the entire list of folders I'm used to,
but when I try to create a new bookmark, FF 3.0 won't show me any of
my folders, I click Bookmarks > Bookmark this page. I then open the
Folder pull-down, but there are no folders shown.

I have a folder of urls for various time-killing sites that I browse
when I'm bored. Since updating to Firefox 3.0, I cannot simply close
one and click on the next without getting a "Firefox is open and not
responding" message. I close the message, wait a couple of seconds,
then proceed OK. Apparently, it hasn't quite closed the previous
window when I try to open the next one.
Is there a way around this?

Just getting used to this program. Today, "something" happened to a
couple of emails which just seemed to vanish. I did a search for these
and they turned up, showing as being in my Inbox but they are patently
not there. Is there an option I have chosen, or perhaps not chosen,
somewhere that would cause this and where the hell are they!
Regards
PJMac

Using Firefox 2.0.0.16, I keep getting the following warning message ...
"Warning: Unresponsive script
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding.
You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will
complete."
for websites like www.rei.com and others.
What can be done to work around this?

When I inadvertently close FF their seems to be a long delay before I
can restart FF 3.01 without getting a message that FF is still running
but not responding----" I don't recall such delays in prior versions.
